FAQ( Portraits)

  • 1. What types of portrait photography do you offer?

I offer a wide variety of portrait photography including corporate headshots, senior portraits, prom photography, Quinceanera, modeling headshots, and editorial portraits

  • What should I wear for my portrait session?

For a portrait session, it is important to dress in a way that you think best represents you. Generally, avoid wearing anything too formal or distracting. Instead, choose clothing that is comfortable, classic and timeless. Layers are always a great option as they can be adjusted to suit the setting and the weather. Colours should be chosen carefully, as they can affect the overall look of the photograph, make sure that if you want to be photographed as a group your clothes compliment each other but don’t match too closely . Try to avoid busy patterns and opt for solid colours that flatter your skin tone.

  • How long does a typical portrait session last?

It typically takes 1-2 hours depending on the type of session you ask for, it may be longer, or it may be shorter.

  • Can I bring props to my portrait session?

Yes! Absolutely you can bring props to your session depending on what you need for a birthday session you may want to bring balloons, I have clients for sports shoots bring tennis racquets/ basketballs and soccer balls, whatever you need to get the image you need.

  • How do I book a session?

You can book the session through the TidyCal link on my website where the packages and other services are located, for portrait sessions and events you will be required to book a consultation and follow-up one day prior to the shoot, and after the shoot you will have a review session afterwards to confirm you are receiving the photos your ordered.

  • Where will the photoshoot take place?

For portrait sessions booked through my page typically at my home studio the location will be provided after the initial consultation.

  • How many photos will I receive after the session?

That typically depends on the package you book

  • Do you offer prints or digital files?

I do offer both and for most packages it is a combined offer for digital and physical photos.

  • What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy? - Provide information about how clients can cancel or reschedule their sessions.

You have 48 hrs to reschedule or cancel your shoot to get a refund, the only reason I give a refund for shoots if there is an equipment malfunction outside of that after images are delivered there are no refunds.

FAQs Photo Restoration

What is photo restoration?

The restoration of old photos involves digitally enhancing old images by correcting color fading, adjusting brightness and contrast, and sharpening blurry areas. This process aims to restore the original appearance of the photograph without altering the content of the image.

How Do I Restore Older Photos?

For negative images I scan them with my Epson V600 and then upload them to computer and then edit scratches, blemishes, and smudges. I do the same process for older phots with my Epson Fastfoto scanner but for that I can edit in batches.

How long will it take to get my restored photos?

After the delivery of the photos, it should take 2-3 days to scan and fully edit your images for delivery. After this process is finished your photos will be mailed back via USPS.

What if my photo is in poor condition can it still be restored?

Yes, we can restore old photos no matter what condition they’re in. That said, the effectiveness of old photo recovery will depend on several factors, including the degree of fading and the quality of the original image.

How do I submit my photos for restoration?

If its just one image, you will be sent a dropbox folder to scan your image and upload your photo. For negatives and older photo batches you will have to mail the photos USPS and we will edit the images then send to you via Dropbox/Pixieset folder then return the images via USPS.

It all begins with an idea.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
